We're big on drinks at The Spot.
For example, if you ask for a Vodka and Coke at The Spot you will get a quality 40% alcohol vodka with a real Coke in it. Sounds obvious, but we suggest you keep an eye out and see how often when you go elsewhere that you are given a well-known, but cheaper to buy in, 37.5% alcohol vodka and sometimes stuff that isn't the Coke you've asked for.

Beers and Ciders
We’re fanatical about giving you a good pint. How are we fanatical?
We meticulously clean all our beer pipes every week. Not only that, but the cleaning is carried out by our Drinks Manager, John (Egg) - because he knows that the best way to know the important job of line cleaning has been done right is to do it yourself.
Also - Egg makes sure that we use pint glasses that are nucleated. This costs us a bomb because we politely say ‘no’ to free brewery glasses in favour of buying high quality glasses from a specialist supplier in Essex. ‘Nucleated’ refers to the clever dots in the bottom of your glass that keep bubbles rising and the head lively – and now you know about them, we guarantee you will find yourself taking time out to marvel at the bubbles coming from nowhere at the base of your pint.
Spirits
We’ve already told you that we don’t do cheap spirits because giving our customers a quality drink is more important to us than making an extra £10 out of a bottle, but we also stock a range of 'Top Shelf' spirits that we sell at not much more than our normal ones.
Our Top Shelf is a bit special as many of the brands are hard to get outside London, and are often from limited productions. If you would like to find out more then take a look at our Top Shelf Club on our My Space pages.
Wines and Champagnes
Wine drinkers will be pleased by the fact that we offer them very little choice in the wine department. We do this because there’s only so much time that you can waste looking and umming & arring when you could be taking your first sip and seeing your troubles melt away.
You won’t find a house wine at The Spot, because the phrase is just shorthand for ‘crap’ in the industry - and we don’t do crap. Instead, you will find that we have a small range of familiar varieties, all at the same price.
Not only this, but we use £1800 worth or machine that re-seals wine and champagne to keep them pristine between servings. This is why we are one of very few bars that are able to offer a range of wines by the glass, and even champagne.
Cocktails
Check out our current cocktail list to see what you might fancy next time you’re in. If you fancy trying a few, then why not come along on one of our mid-week cocktail training nights. Don’t worry, you don’t have to learn how to make cocktails (unless you want to), the purpose of these nights is to train our team in making real cocktails for real people - without dropping them in it on a Saturday night (which is jolly unfair). Your big opportunity on these nights is to enjoy cocktails at 2 for 1 prices – because 'every tipple helps'.
If you are as sharp as the rest of our customers you will realise why a Spot Cocktail is so much better than elsewhere. We only use top brand spirits and mixers (and we don’t skimp on the measures), we train our staff really well, we use lots of fresh fruit, and serve them in sexy glasses.
Soft Drinks and Blanks
We stock a full range of the usual soft drinks and quite a few others that may surprise you. It’s always worth checking out our real fruit smoothies, which are made by blending specially frozen fruits and berries with the juice of your choice. These are fantastic refreshers and walk all over a J2O.
For something to make your night feel on par with your drinking friends (perhaps you are driving, or you just want a sensible break in between alcohol) try one of our Shooting Blanks cocktails. They’re every bit as good as an alcohol cocktail - actually they’re not, but they’re much better than the usual alternatives!
